Stop calling it the "Amy Cooper" bill.

That's not fair to her, and it has already endangered innocent white people.




There is nothing about the Cooper incident, the media manipulations and blatant dishonesty, and the appalling behavior of prominent people about the incident, that has justified the passing of this bill.

Because it was introduced in 2018, it could be that there are reasons to pass it, but this shameful exercise in black racism and institutional misogyny should not be credited if it turns out to be a helpful law.
