Music isn't enough power for her; politics are now her intoxicant.
Taylor Swift never says or does anything that is genuinely controversial. She is adept at reading trends.
Perhaps the searing pain of the malicious injuries inflicted on Representative Hill are making her more conformist in her thought process than she might otherwise be. I hope she'll consider that.
