We don't have to have that conversation, because I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU THINK.
Apparently, the New York Times cares what you think, because that's not the first article of yours that it published. This one is sentence after sentence of you decrying every effort made by white people and white businesses to appreciate and support black people. It's my impression that what you want is not to engage white people in discussions so that they can gain understanding that can improve their actions; you just want them to sit there and hear how pissed off you are, and nod their heads, and cringe with guilt, even if they never did a fucking thing to you or any other black person in their lives.
Do you know how many times in my life anyone, male or female, has asked me "How do you feel about being a 2nd-class citizen due to your gender and lack of money? Do you want to talk about it? Do you need anything? Can I help?" Can you guess? Not once.
If you don't want people to talk to you about being black, then write about something else.
