What the fuck are you doing in Congress, then?

It doesn't seem to me that you know very much about women's lives.

How did you get to be the age that you are without someone calling you a fucking bitch at work or in some other situation?

I'm not saying that what he said was appropriate; obviously, it wasn't.

It's just that you were so easily bribed by Vice President Biden, as if you're the only person in the world who can save the environment.  You and the rest of the Squad and other Democrats, "progressive" Democrats, and whoever else throw insults everywhere and every day.  Now an incident in which someone lost his temper for a few minutes is the subject of days of media stories and Tweets by you and your colleagues.

You all should have fought for consistency about sexual assault allegations against powerful men even if it cost you your political careers, which it wouldn't have.

As for the crime hikes; no rational person can expect anything else when the police are not only engaged in protests but are under attack and being demonized and defunded and people are being let out of jail or not prosecuted at all.  I entirely agree that the police need to be reformed.  I entirely agree that jails need to be reformed and also that it is inhumane to keep people in crowded environments during a pandemic when social distancing is a crucial deterrent.  I even agree that systemic poverty can be a risk factor for crime.

However, I can also tell you that many homeless people do a thriving business in shoplifting and reselling stolen merchandise; by thriving I mean that they make a few hundred dollars so they can have some fun.  There is no attempt by homeless shelters to offer criminal rehabilitation, academic or other education to broaden their moral and social perspectives.

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Maybe I have this to say, too.

Regular people do not have the resources to deal with real criminals.  I won't discuss the "Karen" profiling here; that is a separate issue.  Christian Cooper is not a criminal, and neither is Amy Cooper.

A real criminal is dangerous.  If you are ever confronted by a real criminal who wants to hurt you, you'll know it, and your currently whiny ass will be on the phone to the cops without hesitation.  That goes for everyone else's whiny ass, too.

I have many valid criticisms of law enforcement, primarily that laws protecting women and poor people aren't enforced.  I consider me, I consider the average thug who wants to beat me up and rape me while laughing in my face (I have met them), and I consider the average police officer.  After considering all of those things, I'll take my chances that when I call 911, the police will tackle the right person when they finally show up.
