From Google for "Tiana Lowe":

The media's legitimization of the despicable, racist, misogynist, ageist, incel-like term "Karen" is not coincidental to the age requirement to be a "Karen."  If there are people of color who don't understand that this terminology is destructive, because they have experienced too many setbacks due to race to have an accurate perception, I don't feel vindictive, just very concerned about what will happen nationally and internationally if this media trend continues and if Amy Cooper is convicted.

-demonizing female babies can't be made popular in the United States, although many cultures outside of the U.S. still practice the murder of female infants as soon as or soon after they are born.  Male-preference infanticide has created major population imbalances in China and India, resulting in significant social problems.

-demonizing female children also isn't going to be a popular activity for the media, although I think it has continued in subtler ways through the reinforcing of rigid gender roles.  So many decades have passed since women in the United States were first able to pursue more equitable education and careers that there is a generation of young adults with no memory of a world in which the only women in the workplace were secretaries, nurses, teachers, maids, and so on.  Maybe it's easy for that generation to take its social, financial and political power for granted, despite half of that generation's continuing 2nd-class citizenship due to gender.  Also, the cruelty of young people toward older people, with whom they have a horror of identifying, has been substantially documented throughout history.

-demonizing adolescents is an easy way for adults to avoid coping with a variety of things, from their own aging to their lack of sophistication in addressing adolescent needs, fears and abilities, to the most sinister excuses for predation.  This is the age where the American M&E industry has ignored, exploited and dehumanized people of both genders for so many years that it's not surprising that adolescent suicide rates are at record highs.

From Google for "adolescent suicide rates":

-women in their 20's and early 30's are targeted for sexual harassment and other abuses, but they're not being profiled as a threat to society the way that middle-aged women are because men of all races consider them to have sexual value.

-old women are considered to have no potential to be powerful in any capacity, with few exceptions.  They are, as a group, so pervasively and casually stigmatized, ridiculed and dismissed that targeting them in public in addition to abusing them and their male counterparts in nursing homes would be redundant.

-for the time being, women of color are off-limits as actively hunted targets to provide fodder for media stories categorically demonizing them.
