By "heteronormative," does Mayor Morse mean "not sleeping with college students?" If so, he is wrong about that. Sleeping with undergraduate college students, aged 18 to 22, is a fantasy that people have from high school to nursing home. It was a fantasy that I had when I was a college student of that age, and which was never fulfilled because of my social ineptitude.
Devastated by things that people say on social media? So many of us have been there. I take it that he's feeling less devastated now.
