So painful.

From Google for "Alex Morse":

____________

Mayor Morse, I'm sorry that you weren't ready to be a mayor, but you weren't, and you shouldn't be elected to Congress.

If Ryan Grim and a few others hadn't run with the story that you're a victim of homophobia, hadn't prioritized political machinations over the substance of your inappropriate behavior, and had allowed some time rather than being entirely biased about getting you into office, the extent to which you were not and are not ready to be an elected official might not be so apparent.  It is, however, important information.  The incident described by the Boston Globe is evidence of incompetence and the fact that you responded to questions by referring to a nondisclosure agreement is appalling.  It is also evidence that being a member of one minority does not guarantee understanding of issues that affect other minorities.

$65,000 is nowhere near enough money for what the police did to that kid.  No amount of money could be; it is one of the saddest examples of a good deed being punished that I have ever heard.

I'm sorry.  I am.
