For a decade and counting, the mainstream media has known about specific crimes of voyeurism being committed and has ignored, promoted and participated in them. I have been victim-blamed, ridiculed, emotionally abused and the target of constant extortion threats whose goal is censorship since the cameras started rolling, while what were initially hundreds and are probably now thousands of other innocent, unsuspecting victims have been treated as if they don't exist. Both of the major political parties in the United States, and many around the world, have known about this situation for years and done nothing, other than also to make some jokes about me.
Now, a faction of the alternative media, which has read my daily discussions of these crimes for months, is invested in arguing that a Massachusetts mayor and college teacher who slept with college students didn't do anything wrong because they weren't his students. The alternative media discussing that story is outraged on his behalf for being set up. Dropping the story for the time being doesn't seem to be an option, because he's also running for representative and this faction doesn't like the other representative's politics.
