If I wanted to lie or be manipulative, I could use those tactics to materially improve my life very quickly. I assure you that's true.
What I do every day is ask that someone do something to stop the grotesque human rights abuses that have been inflicted on people since 2011, first in a homeless shelter in Vermont and then in homeless shelters in Massachusetts. Voyeurism and involuntary pornography have proliferated in the Boston area for all of that time. Every day, nothing is done.
Sometimes I lose my balance, as anyone would who has been abused as much and for as long as I have. Sometimes I make mistakes, like everyone else.
NOTHING makes what I have endured and continue to endure anything other than horrifying.
