You don't have a word of criticism for any of them?

From Representative Hill's Twitter:

Why do you think that the Democratic Party had so little to say condemning the methods by which your mistakes were made public?  You took responsibility for your mistakes and resigned, but there still has been almost no acknowledgement from your own party, which you Tweet support for every day, of the sleazy, cruel, life-threatening way that you have been exposed and the lifetime of repercussions before you and for everyone who is ever close to you.

I'm the dirty secret.  I'm the reason that you have bus marks on your back.

You don't owe them.  You don't need their forgiveness.  They should be apologizing to you and to all the other women and other victims of these crimes, whom they have fucked over as if their lives depended on it for years, in favor of their careers.

When Me Too gained prominence, I was sure that it would be the end of voyeurism, involuntary pornography, and all the mirthful slut-shaming.  I supported so many people, wrote page after page, serene in my belief that eventually everyone, or at least one, of the many "powerful women" who knew that I was telling the truth would put a stop to the criminal victimization that was being inflicted on me and more innocent, unsuspecting people every day.  As far as I can tell, nobody did, because it's still going on.  There was even a shift toward blaming me more, probably to try to avoid the responsibility that they had already avoided for most of a decade by then.

It seems to me that they're happy to have you running after them like the social outcast running after a popular clique in junior high school.  The more blame you put on yourself, and the more you crave their acceptance, the happier they'll be.  Then they can just keep pretending that these issues haven't been ruining thousands of lives while they preen about their feminism and speaking "truth to power," and tell themselves that the only reason that regular people ever don't like them is that they're "strong women," and not because there are people who are disgusted by their hypocrisy even if they don't know everything that has happened.
