Have the female counterparts of people who look like this offered to rescue you from degraded poverty for a decade and counting while you have said "No, I think I should pay my own way, as difficult as it is to make a living while surrounded by invasive abuse?"

It doesn't seem to me that they have.

Also, despite your fugitive status, you are allowed to date and even get married.  Your girlfriend wasn't prevented from joining you in Russia.

Why is it that you are respected and I am not?

You are living a less restricted, more humane life in asylum in Russia, whose government is allied with some of the world's most blatant human rights abusers, than I have lived as a lawful citizen in the United States for a decade and counting.

I don't begrudge you the kindnesses that are denied to me.  I am questioning the cruelty that has been inflicted on me with self-righteous, vicious, self-congratulatory, remorseless mirth since 2010.
