From Vice President Biden's Twitter:
______________
I WON'T BE CALLED "WHITE" WITH A CAPITAL "W." IT IS OFFENSIVE!
As for black people making everyone else change how they're addressed every other decade; why do we have to keep doing that? I never, ever use the "n" word, but it's part of black speech for a lot of black people. They can use the "n" word toward each other, call women everything there is to call them, be in total denial about domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse in their commmunities, have what seems to be no concern whatsoever for anything that's happening anywhere else in the world that they don't feel affects them directly, accuse white people as a race of not understanding them and then attack us for trying to understand and ask questions, and then restructure the English language whenever they feel like it, even when to do so labels other races?
Everything that I have written about homeless life for years has been ignored and denied by politicians of color. I don't give a goddamn anymore. I do not give a goddamn about what they want me to call them.
I am no fucking "Karen," with a big K or a little k, and I AM NO KIND OF COLOR WITH A CAPITALIZED FIRST LETTER.
I'm not a "piece of rice." I'm not a "honky." I'm not a "cracker." I'm not part of a Jewish conspiracy. Fuck this.
I can't begin to describe the number of times that I have tolerated black racism, tolerated things that no white person could have thrown at a black person in the same situation without being fired or having some other consequence.
Do I think there's racism in policing? Yes. Do I think that racism should be eradicated? Yes. Am I sick of the bullshit that has gone on in the United States for months, which is going to end as soon as it's too cold for people to be outside for hours? Yes. Do I think that everything was excused so that people would stop thinking about the way that the Democratic Party and the M&E industry murdered Me Too? Yes. Do I think that Black Lives Matter has been exploited by the Democratic Party? Yes; as soon as there's a story about someone running for office who hurt a black person, Black Lives Matter will be over, too.
I don't even want to think about the calculations that had to have been made by the Democratic Party when the protests started. November 3rd; everyone will be off the street and sitting in front of the television by then.
