Poll numbers, huh? So much for solidarity among sexual assault survivors.
Sexual assault is an everyday issue for many ordinary Americans, unfortunately. That was a very chauvinist thing for Representative Cartwright to say. It is an economic issue in addition to everything else. People who are sexually assaulted can lose years of productivity because of it.
It doesn't sound as if the New York Times article is enough to start an impeachment proceeding. However, the correction to the article is also not a reason not to continue to investigate.
