The ants march to work or apply for work and consider it a good day when they're not subjected to human rights violations. Some women and some people of color who like power end up with it and turn out to be like everyone else who has ever sought power.
It's not as if all men have ever been treated equally anywhere in the world; the idea that everything is a boys' club against women instead of everything having always been a hierarchy in which most men and women have always been viciously subordinated to a few powerful men and women is a popular distortion among people who don't understand feminism.
