You're going to continue to deny everything that I say about the dysfunction of the homeless support system in Massachusetts, aren't you? Everyone has believed you and not me, because you're black and I'm white, even though I have lived in that system for a total of 6 years since 2011.
The only politician that I'm aware of who started to ask questions about the system is Mayor Walsh, probably because he has publicized his substance abuse recovery and has a personal interest in the issue. However, the system is so complacent, so apathetic and has received so much funding and fawning as is for so many years that nobody else has spoken up and it's going nowhere.
Mayor Walsh is not my favorite person for a number of reasons. However, he is the only politician who has taken anything that I have had to say about how homeless people are treated seriously.
